OP PLENTY - Kingsbury |
||
|
This evening, PCSO Smith and PCSO Mitchell attended the first Winter Warm Hub in Kingsbury. This was a brilliant event which enabled locals to access services available to them. Well done to the organisers!! Whilst there we spoke to people about OP PLENTY. The aim of Operation Plenty is to support vulnerable members of our community, particularly those who may be experiencing loneliness or isolation. Officers will be making informal visits to offer a friendly chat over a cup of tea, check on their wellbeing, and provide safety advice or essential supplies where needed. We recognise that rural areas can present additional challenges for those with limited mobility, and this initiative helps us identify and reach those who may benefit from a visit. If you know someone who would appreciate a visit from one of our officers, please email sntreachout@warwickshire.police.uk. Please ensure you have obtained the individual’s consent before submitting their details. We will be promoting Operation Plenty via social media and distributing leaflets in local shops and community venues. Additionally, we will have a presence at Dickens Night on Saturday 29th November as well as Coleshill light switch on, where further information will be available. 6360/8810
